Relationships of Indoor, Outdoor, and Personal Air (RIOPA) Database

About RIOPA Database Website

The main purpose of the RIOPA website is to provide a convenient portal to access measurement and associated data collected during the RIOPA study

The RIOPA database was compiled by PIs in UMDNJ and Rutgers University (see About Data page for further details). Information contained in the database includes concentrations of various toxic air pollutants in indoor, outdoor and personal environments, indoor-outdoor air exchange rates, and meta data collected during and after RIOPA to facilitate interpretation (see Data Availability page).

Under funding from the Health Effects Institute and Mickey Leland National Urban Air Toxics Research Center, AER reformatted RIOPA data for use with the riopa.aer.com website, processed meteorology and activity data, and performed limited quality assurance steps. Invalid data and data flagged by RIOPA PIs are not disseminated via this website.
